Cricketforce
Thank you everyone for turning up over the weekend and working to get the clubhouse and ground ready for the forthcoming season. Much has been achieved and thanks go to our director of operations Paul Newell Price for organising everything. However not everything has been done, to be fair it will never be possible to do all of the tasks on the list. It really is a Forth Bridge situation. There may well be a call for working parties to do the odd job so stand by for the rallying call.

Move Into Sport
This is an initiative to get people who play little sport active. How about trying cricket, maybe you haven’t played since you were at school, maybe you haven’t played at all. Girls and boys over the age of 18 are very welcome. See Bryan Stone for details.

Club Registration
We need to update the club database and are required to renew the photo authority.  Please can everyone print off a copy of the new club registration form, complete it and return as soon as possible. The Treasurer would also be delighted to receive subscriptions for those who have not paid yet, details of subs are on the form.

Kitchen
The kitchen is to be upgraded shortly and we hope to be able to offer a much improved range of snacks.  However we do need some help, can anyone spare a couple of hours maybe once a month to join a rota.

Sunday Morning Introduction to Cricket starts Sunday 11th May 2014, 10am - 12noon.

For boys and girls aged under 11, this is the ideal introduction to a sport you can play for a lifetime. The course will run into the summer holidays, just come along and join in. All equipment is provided. Cost is £30 or £3 per session for members, £45 or £5 per session for non-members.

Parents, families and friends are all welcome to attend, tea, coffee and snacks are available.

Saturday June 28 Annual Under 11 Festival
Once again we are holding the festival for all boys and girls under 11. This is irrespective of whether they have been to one Sunday morning session or one hundred. For those new to the club, the day will start at 10am with a warm up. The youngsters are then divided into teams and will play Kwikcricket against each other. Each player will be given a coloured team T shirt to keep, they will also be provided with lunch. Families and friends are most welcome to come along and cheer on the boys and girls. A new addition this year will be a match between the winning team and a team of mums.
Cost for the day is £5
It will be possible to turn up on the day but will help with catering if players could be registered beforehand by emailing markdavis1977@yahoo.com
